Edward Rickford graduated with honors in history from George Washington University and graduated cum laude from Lewis and Clark Law. He has a Certificate in Environmental and Natural Resources Law and was inducted into the Cornelius Honors Society during his final year of law school. Edward has experience with criminal law as well as civil law and welcomes the chance to assist you with your case. Edward is barred in Oregon.
Tanya Muzenda is an attorney who holds an LL.M. in Animal Law from Lewis & Clark Law School. Her areas of interest include strategic litigation to mitigate the harms of industrial animal agriculture, environmental justice, housing, and family law.
Nicole Green is a second-year law student with a focus in environmental and animal law. With her background in horticulture and experience running her own gardening business, Nicole has developed a strong passion for sustainability and environmental stewardship. She is now applying her skills and expertise to help create positive impacts on the environment through legal avenues. In addition to her academic pursuits, Nicole lives on and maintains 40 wooded acres with her family in Western Massachusetts, where she continues to nurture her love for nature and conservation.
Jason Liu received his bachelor's degree from the University of Texas at Arlington and is currently pursuing a graduate degree in paralegal studies at George Washington University. He is passionate about using the law to protect the environment and hopes to work in public interest law after he graduates. He is fluent in multiple languages and enjoys traveling.
Francis Nicholai holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Justice from the University of Alaska Anchorage and is a current graduate student at George Washington University studying Paralegal Studies. Before graduate school, he was on active duty in the U.S. Navy for four years. Francis has an interest in Environmental Law and Federal Indian Law. In his free time, Francis enjoys running, cooking, and traveling.
Elise Nelson is a second-year law student at American University, Washington College of Law, focusing on environmental law with a particular interest in agricultural issues. After earning her bachelor’s degree in political science from the University of Denver, she spent two years working on progressive political campaigns for local elections in Colorado. Elise’s passion for the environment and her personal connection to the natural world developed during her upbringing in swampy South Carolina. Elise speaks Spanish and enjoys painting with acrylics and watercolors in her free time.
Sarosh graduated from the University of Toronto in 2023, where she studied Public Policy and Economics. She previously worked as a Research Analyst for the Ontario Ministry of Business and Delivery. During her time in this role, Sarosh developed a deep interest in legal frameworks and the way law intersects with governance and business. Her experiences at the Ministry sparked a passion for law, inspiring her to pursue a legal career. Today, Sarosh is a first-year law student at George Washington University, where she is honing her legal skills. She is committed to using her knowledge and experiences to contribute meaningfully to the legal field in the future"
Mimi Tanchevski graduated in 2023 with a Bachelor of Arts in Public Relations, Strategic Communications, and Environmental Science from American University. She is currently pursuing a Graduate Degree in Paralegal Studies at George Washington University, with aspirations to specialize in environmental law. Passionate about climate protection since childhood, Mimi also enjoys playing ultimate frisbee and taking photos in her free time.
Emmet is a first-year law student at Northeastern University, with a focus on public health law. After earning his bachelor’s degree in economics from Colgate University, he spent four years working in behavioral health policy. Emmet is interested in the intersection of public health and environmental law. In his free time, he enjoys skiing and fishing.
Joe is a first-year law student at Northeastern University School of Law, focusing on corporate law. After earning his bachelor’s degree in World Politics from Hamilton College, he spent a year working in federal financial services and cybersecurity lobbying at a law firm in Washington, DC. Joe is interested in the intersection of transactional lawyering and environmental law. In his free time, he enjoys golfing and playing the guitar.
